I have been awarded the Global Policy Research Institute research grant to study economic and environmental consequences of widespread deployment of solar photovoltaics (in collaboration with Fu Zhao, Chong Xiang, and Carol Handwerker).

My research work with Thomas Hertel "The Optimal Allocation of Global Land Use in the Food-Energy-Environment Trilemma" is published as GTAP Working Paper No. 64. The earlier version of this paper was called "Climate, Agriculture, Energy, Forestry and the Optimal Allocation of Global Land Use."
